Twice per game, when your opponent captures one of your pieces (not your king), that piece is spirited to safety instead: an identical piece reappears on an empty square deep in your own half.
You draft Guardian Angel in Buff mode. Passive: it works on its own the whole time you hold it, with nothing to activate.
As a protection card, it shields a piece or bars squares from the opponent.
